I would love to have one of these two:
OPTION A.
Miniature Maker.
*Have a Miniature Maker (Mahk in Nightfall, for starters, then add two more, one in Lion's Arch and another in Shing Jea)
*This NPC would accept miniatures, but, in exchange, you would lose them forever. It would warn you about non-dedicated miniatures, so you may want to dedicate them first before losing them.
*Added miniatures would be unlocked for the entire account.
*This NPC would re-make miniatures, for a small fee that depends on rarity: (white 10g, purple 25g, gold 50g, green 100g)
*Re-made miniatures are customized, and can't be dedicated.
OPTION B.
Unify the system with Polymock.
*Have a Figure Registrar (Mahk in Nightfall, one in Lion's Arch, another in Shing Jea and Menn in Rata Sum)
*This NPC would accept both miniatures and polymock figures, but, in exchange, you would lose them forever. It would warn you about non-dedicated miniatures, so you may want to dedicate them first before losing them.
*Added miniatures and figures would be unlocked for the entire account.
*This NPC would re-make miniatures, for a small fee that depends on rarity: (white 10g, purple 25g, gold 50g, green 100g)
*Re-made miniatures are customized, and can't be dedicated.
*Some added miniatures and figures would be usable as Polymock figures (not all).

signed for an additional Minipet Tab at storage chests for a fee of say 1 platin
Minipets don't stack, there exist no different versions of the same pet, so there exist also no problems with puttign them in an own storage tab
in the storage tab they could stack then...
this would give us alot more of storage place just for 1 tab more....
with 1 Tab for minipets we would receive theoretically 40 new free slots that don#t have to be used up in our storage chest or our characters.
Storage tabs are so or so the best solution to give us more storage space with little cost...cause with storage tabs have all characters of our accounta a benefit from...
the storage chest is so or so bad concepted imo,a fail from the begin on.
The Storage Chest should have come from the start on with following Tabs:
- Consumeables (Identify Kits, Salvage Kits, Food, Buff items, Colors, Fun Items, Keys ect.)
- Runes & Perfect Insignias
- Perfect Weapon Upgrades
- Minipets
- Normal & Rare Materials
- Green Items
- Complete Armor Sets
- Quest Items
- Event & Trade Items (i.E. Kournan Coins, Moon Medals, Armor Remnants and Endgame items for Exchange for a Green, Armbraces and the Anguish Jewels ect.)
so that every kind of item has its own tab, resulting in a storage chest with some Order and the 1-4 other tabs before the tabs are for Randomous Stuff, like
- golden Items (weapons, shields, focus items)
- or more of something, when you got from somethign like materials more than 250 pieces ,but this is also a stupid limitation that should be increased to say 1000 per slot or 10000 per slot woudl be best, at least for materials and rare materials
however, such a good ordered storage chest would let the game end up for sure in a game with a monthly fee...

OPTION C, far better:
A combination of Festival Hat Maker technology with the Incubator Kit, everything else is just a choice of interface - either a new NPC, storage tab or button in Xunlai Chest, or an item in inventory that can store minis inside.
Allow storing up to 1 miniature of each kind, save just 2 bits of data per minipet type - first determining if a certain pet is stored and second if the pet is dedicated or not.
Supersimple.
Festival hat maker uses 1 bit per hat stored and allows only putting a hat once then copying. This would be putting in or taking out, binary value 1 if the pet is in and 0 if not.
No costs per use, No customization/dedication required. Pure storage solution based on minimal data space usage.
If 2 bits of data per pet is too much, allow storing just undedicated minis, then it's only 1 bit per pet required.
And yes, /SIGNED,
this feature is needed A LOT, minis take stupid huge loads of storage space

I would like to see a mini storage, but since i dont have it, i just keep most of them on a mule and keep 4 or 5 in storage at all times and when i get board with them, i swap them out for 4 or 5 others. I to could never trash a mini, weather i had more then 1 of a kind or not. I will admit i do have 2 devourers, but thats the only repeat i have. On that same mule i keep my extra armors ther too. plenty of room for that. Just an idea for you to save room in storage, if you have an open charicter slot, or a charicter you dont use...load it up with that excess crap we all keep.

Storage for minis in HoM: /signed
Storage for any item that is used with HoM in HoM: /signed
Storage anywhere else: /notsigned
My image of a minipet storage, if it were different from a normal storage page, would be like the Crafting Material storage. If you have that many minis, you have too many. Junk 'em.

Press I and your character and armor page comes up. What if there was a drop down here you could get to for your minis. You dedicate them then they go into your drop down and disapear from inventory.

No. It wont be like that, it will look like all the other storage tabs but it will be able to hold at least one of each existing mini...perhaps stackable if you have more than one (char bdays getting the same pets etc). And MOST people like to collect them, not junk 'em.

YES to any option.
A thing like the "Festival hat maker" would be satisfying, with the additions already made in the thread to avoid the same minipet be used for different accounts.

Uhmm..
1. Storage for weapons
2. Storage for Minis.
3........
98. Storage for my girlfriend names
99. Storage for my smurf guilds....
100. Storage for my GW hacked accounts......
You guys save too many junks lmao! Like 1 year ago Anet gave all of us THE 3 storages already. Now you want storage for specific shits? Realy, it's kinda annoying for me to think about it.
1. Storage for dyes? Come on, stack it, 10 slots, who care, be more organized. Seriously. Why the hell do you want dyes? Buy it, 100g per who care. Throw it away!!!
2. Storage for CANDY STUFFS and Alcohol? Come on, USE IT, SELL it w/e. Go shoot yourself for being cheap of 5 storage slot (consider stacks of stacks.)
3. Storage for WEAPON? Come on, How many SKIN are there, ALL weapons are different. Sell it, junk? Put it on the trash.
4. Storage for TOMES? Come on sell it, use it w/e. Why save it for?
5. And what else? Jeez
Btw storage for mini pet is quite pathetic but I do agree that throwing away a mini pet is retarded. Though I don't have many mini pets but it would not hurt giving people the storage for mini pet.
Suggestion for this:
1. We do have Monument Hall. Why not make it become a storage place. Not just showing off the armor but the armor itself can just stay there (of course we can take it out whenever we want.) That mean Mini Pet and Destroyer weapons as well. Why not make them show off and we still have it? But there is a problem. That mean storage belong to a specific char. Kinda pathetic.
2. Make a house in guild hall. Just drop the weapon/armor/minis itself there. Max of 300 items. I think this is more realistic.
Thanks!

We already have 'storage'(or at least a way to get them without using up storage) for:
- Runes (The trader, quite a fee for hist 'storage' services, but it's better than having to hoard tons of runes)
- And for materials (with the help of the trader too)
- And for hats.
- /bonus items.
- And for 80 random things.
They should add weapon inscriptions traders, but that's for another thread.
But there are 12*2 + a lot more of miniatures, and probably +12 soon.
Even if it meant to lose them by having to destroy them and getting only customized copies, I won't care. I only get the miniatures for myself, not to sell.
For the ones like me 'loving' the game it's a bit of harsh getting the storage cluttered with things you will never sell and only use while in some events, like hats.

IMO there isnt enough storage i this game for all the collectable crap they put in it, i would highly highly highly recommend they at least add more for GW2 to fit the amount of collectors crap (festivals, minis, NPC collector items)
But they should add a mini storage for GW1

Suggesting something stupid like that to solve a problem when you could just fix it without spending 10 dollers is stupid, you fail.

a inscription trader i dunno
15^50 stock prices will go down that way unless they get sold for a decent price offcourse
only thing i rly want is that runes and insignia's stack in storages
to save space
how many storage components were filled up by all those radiants, vigors and other stuff

when no storage tab or anythign else, then they should give us "unlockable" minipet commands which will work then like /bonus items
you type in then
/minipet [Insert mini name here] and after usign this command, you will get spawned the commanded mini into your inventory.
these commands will then be unlocked, once you have an undedicated minipet and you go dedicate it at your hom, then this command gets unlocked for the dedicated minipet for your account.
Example: I#ve an undedicated Mallyx, I go dedicate it then, after that i go trash it...
type then in
/minipet Mallyx and press Enter and BOOM
I'll have a dedicated untradeable, customized ect. pp Mini Mallyx in my invetory, which I can then let spawn into my inventory, whenever I want and trashed the previous one before.
perfect storage solution for lessest data effort..
same way could be done with Armor Sets :
/Armor Elite Kurzick
and boom u have your Elite kurzick Set of your character's profession in your inventory, once you unlocked the command by buying the complete armor set by an armor npc ...
same with ranger Pets....
/RPet Phoenix and boom ,the next time you go out into an explorable area, then will be your tamed phoenix at your side.. you warp back into town ..
/RPet Crocodile and boom ,when you leave the town, the crocodile will be at your side ...
unlock commands works by taming naturally the pets ....
this command would be then character based, like /armor too

How about stop being pack rats and you won't have storage/inventory size problems?
I have about 2-3 sets of armor on each of my characters, 7 or 8 weapon sets, per character, albeit, I only have about a dozen minipets, but, I have never had a storage issue in my life.
Basically, stop putting white 5-8 damage longswords in your storage and you should be fine, there's no reason to have 4+ storage tabs and 16 bags w/runes of holding worth of shit.

Festival items, scrolls, items for other chars/heros, incriptions, pets, armor and lots of other things...this game is a pack rats worst nightmare they make it so most of the stuff you have to hold on to, you cant just tell people to stop keeping useful items or collectors items because this game has so many things people end up needing to keep if they dont want to have to go back in a day and re-farm the items...
IMO they should really impliment more storage or at least have the option of buying additional tabs/more space for existing ones for like 5k each or something maybe start at 1k a piece and work its way up to 10k so its another money sink etc....it is needed.

Who the hell holds onto low damage swords? And why are you being so negative. A simple...
No, I won't sign it because of the following reasons would of sufficed. As for everything you claim you carry.... sounds like a lot. Three sets of armor for each character is fifteen slots... with an additional eight for weapons... which makes 25 slots... minus seven for actively worn/used... 18 slots for just your items clothing and weapons.
Factor in your Dungeon Books... ID Kit... Lockpicks/Keys... Salvage Kit(s)... Consumable(s)... mini... pets... etc... and you are looking at a packrat by system design... not noobs who hold onto items that they don't need.
Anyway, what do I know, I am retarded and can't put my clothes on correctly in the morning.
